In the agency context, the assistant is an independent service provider attached to the instructing party where he/she is committed to an action plan and delivery deadlines. The fixed-rate costs and duration of the project work are defined at the outset.

The assistant shares their time between being on site and working from home and is mobilised for a period of 3 to 12 months, on a renewable basis.
